This event was more than just a school event...it was my event!
I decided to make a bold move and give the director of student life a new idea for an event I had for the student body. For the month of October, there were not that many events scheduled so what I had in mind was, make goodie bags for students and in return we would get a $1 donation to United Way. Some students may not celebrate Halloween but at least they get a small treat here on campus and it would go out to a good cause. Maybe next year it'll happen again.
