Breast Cancer is a very sensitive topic to many people; that's why Miami Dade takes into consideration how important it is. Breast Cancer Awareness month was so exciting and something most students looked forward to. What other school do you see collecting money for the foundation while having an activity at the same time? We decided to have a field day that attracted the student population and gave prizes to the winners. Its not all about the prize though, during field day, we had a guest speaker that spoke to us about the topic itself and provided us with nutritious snacks. It was a great day to learn something new and have fun while doing it.
